Gitzo 1545T and Markins Q3i traveller ball head combo

Just a heads up for anyone considering the new (2015) Gitzo traveller series 1 tripods; the new panning base diameter is 35mm compared to the Markins 50mm. I imagine Gitzo is likely trying to lead people to buy their new/matching 82TQD ball head (no friction control and not Arca compliant, but possibly still decent (?), haven't seen a review yet) which looks to close up even more compactly.

Anyways, I had no luck searching the web for this exact combo before purchasing and thought I'd share in case someone here was considering them. Apologies for the off topic thread (though it's quite light and suits the a7rII)

Hello there, i am a new member of this forum. Just wondering if anyone can give me a suggestion. I tested my Sony a7ii with MF Canon FDn 500mm f/4.5 L lens, mounted on a CF tripod (Sirui N-2204), steady shot set at 500mm then shot on and off both mode, shutter speed around 1/800 to 1/1500 but can not get a sharp image. I even can see on the magnified LCD (without touching anything) the picture is not stable, kind of vibrating. Is it camera problem or Tripod? Please help me.Thank you.

    • I don’t think the C1EM is compatible with the a7RM2 the C2EM is the Sony model that work, see this link https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1159878-REG/sony_a7r_mark_ii_digital.html/accessories The Meike looks like a great deal, though I wonder about the build quality... did you try searching for some video reviews?
