A few shots from a recent beach session. I brought my A6000 with the Zeiss 55 1.8 and my A7 with the 28mm F2. I'm still waiting on my Zeiss 85mm Batis to ship, but until then I was very happy with this combo for wide and zoom. Used the Nissin di700a flash with the Air Commander for wireless triggering.

Any creative feedback would also be appreciated. Always looking for tips to improve.

Very nice. :)

I'm not really qualified to give comments but to me it looks like you could do something with the bags under the eyes, especially in the first two shots (unless the zombie looks is what you're going for), and the eyes themselves in the first (very dark and blue whites).

Cool, I love to try different things on a shooting. And you're doing the same.

I like the style and any of them are very good!

my criticism:

1: the composition is good, but on this distance, the arm is cutted off. Either go more on distance to show the whole arm with elbow or she just let the arm out of the picture. It's a little bit too much blue in the pupils and red around them. the background could be a little bit darker, so the shoulder pops out more.

2: again the composition is great. But I would love a provokation of her. You're doing a pic from the top, that's not flattering. So she needs to pay it back with a story. maybe she's just look directly into the camera with the chin to the front and a slightly provokative view. like a girl that want to have fun with you. :)

3: she's lost on that parket lot. the background is cool, but there is no story in the pic.

4: wow! my favorite. maybe I would try to move the dove a little to the right. it is too close to the face but great it is on the picture!

5: I'm not so used to BW. But I need more contrast. maybe I would wash out the background, push the contrast and/or try some vigneting. try a gradient from the bottom to lightem it up a little.

6: her feets are perfect. take out the gloss on her skin and remove the roof on the top.

but the best shot you didnt show us! the lifeguard: perfect light (her hair!), great colors, cool settings, good contrast of back and foreground. print that on A3+!

she looks like a temperamentfull women with character. try to play with that in your pictures. she's so beautiful, that she don't need to pose much.

Thanks Seb! That feedback is extremely helpful, especially for future shoots. On shot 4 I didn't even notice the seagull until I got back, wish I would have waiting for it be in better position, hah. I just noticed if I update images on Flickr they are removed here, so I'll post them again here, and with the lifeguard tower shot.
