Sony E PZ 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 OSS lens + a6500

hi-i m considering buying -  Sony E PZ 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 OSS lens             =

would this lens fit with my 
Sony a6500? if yes do u recommend this lens to a6500? and would that cause
any serious vignette?

Yes, it's a E-mount lens. All E-mount lenses fit all E-mount cameras.

Really depends on your purpose and expectations. Of all E-mount zoom lenses, this one is optically the worst. However, it is also the cheapest, most compact (camera+lens will fit a large jacket pocket) and still delivers quite acceptable results. So if you want a cheap and compact setup and aren't a pixel peeper, go for it. If you want the absolute best results, better look elsewhere.

No: your a6500 is an APS-C camera. The lens is also designed for APS-C, so the image circle of lens and camera are compatible. Only when used on a fullframe camera (A7, A9, A1) does this lens cause serious vignetting.

I have one of these for my a6500.

It's ok... I use it if I just want camera when walking about, maybe in a new town I'm visiting.

Nice and compact for street photography, where quality is notary main concern. 

However, I'm more often found with my Sony Zeiss 35mm on my A6500 as I prefer the colour and image quality. (and can "zoom" with my feet.
