Hope this is a simple question with an easy answer.  I received a lovely Voigtlander Color-Ultron 50mm f1.8 in Rollei QBM mount.  Its the version with a rear aperture pin as well as a slotted tab that slightly protrudes and moves as aperture is changed, and its the version with the all metal focus ring.  I bought a cheap Pixco adapter to mount it on my A7ii, but have discovered there seems to be an issue between the adapter and the thin slotted tab on the lens.  The main round aperture pin is fully depressed, so works fine, but this second tab/pin in the slot is getting stopped once I get to f8.  It is fine from f1.8 through to f8, but on the adapter won't get to f11 or f16.  What does this second slotted pin do?  Can I remove it? I can't see any function for it when used on an adapter on the A7, and if it performs no useful function, then can I 'nip it of' so it no longer protrudes.  The lens will never get used on a Rollei 35mm film camera...  Oh, and I should add that this little protruding pin/tab is scratching a grove on the adapter, so its not depressing very effectively (but I guess it was never meant to?  Any advice appreciated before I get the snippers out....

Quick update to previous post incase anyone else gets one of these, and has the same issue.  In the end I used a dremel type tool, and filed down the pin, took two minutes.  Everything works fine, can now stop down to f16.

Oh, and this is an outstanding piece of glass, and super sharp on the A7ii, although one day I would like to own a Zeiss Planar T f/1.7. :-)
