Exposure Adjust In Low Light For Auto-Focus

Recommended Posts

I used to own the A7sII and I remember when I would shoot in low light, the camera/viewfinder would expose up to see the image and grab focus on the subject and then when the shutter was pressed it would go back to the settings I had initially setup. I thought this was an awesome feature because I could see the image/composition before snapping the photo.

Is there a way to do this with the A7RIII?

Thanks for the help!

Thank you so much! That's what I was looking for but it only works in manual focus? I thought on my A7sII even in auto-focus it just detected whenever I was in low light, half pressed, and it would expose up, grab focus and then expose back down.

Either way. THank you!
