A5000 LCD screen distorted

Recently when I turned on my a5000 camera screen randomly became distorted/blurry/grainy. This happens all the time including when I am taking photos, playback and in the settings. When the photos are uploaded to a computer they come out completely normal. 

I assumed it must of been the LCD so I bought a new one and replaced it myself but the issue still remains. So I am just wondering what else it could be.
