I have the A7iii and I am concerned about the reported shutter issues. Will using the electronic shutter help reduce the chance of my shutter failing? Is there a bad batch out there that can be tracked and maybe I can see if my camera is part of that? -

Hey friend, I'm having the same issue with a Sony a7s. The setting config to the front dial sometimes goes crazy and keep it dancing between two values... Don't know how to fix it, but this is truly breaking me, because there is no way to work on manual mode with my shutter speed changing by himself in the middle of the scene. -

Hey friends, I own a Sony Alpha 7s, Sometimes the cam start to tilt and the shutter speed goes completely crazy, it starts to dance between two values like, 200/250, and when I tried to change it just keep dancing between some values. This happens only with the config set to the front dial of the camera... In my case I use the Shutter, but if I change to aperture the same thing happens. Another aspect is even if I go into the menu and lock the dials, it will keep changing. This is a hardware or software issue? This is a common problem with this camera? There is a fix? I'm in need of great help because there is no way to work with this error. 🤧 Thank you guys for the attention. -
They're genuine but won't be covered by Sony warranty.
