Seeking real world, from the field information about using the Sigma MC-11 on a Sony A7R3 with the Canon 200mm. f2.0

Does this combination actually work well enough to consider use or would it be better to just purchase a Canon body?

Sigma not listing the 200 2.0 as a lens that works on it's website. Also plenty of not so favorable reviews of this adapter on web?

My concern is purchasing a non-usable adapter that will not function correctly with this setup.

It all depends on what you want to photograph, the quality will be good, but the problem is the autofocus, which will not be as fast as in native optics, that is, perfect for making models, terrible for making birds in flight, at least that's my experience .
