Noise from camera in cold weather

Hi All, I have a A6000, at the moment I am using the 35mm 1.8 lens with it, sometimes in the cold weather, and yesterday it made the noise when switching it on in the bedroom, not heated, the camera makes a noise like a baby crying, I switch it off, and when I switch back on is ok. When I take camera out I use neck strap,and camera is in my coat, but does it, any thoughts please.
