Screen Mirroring for a7r2

Hi -

I'm trying to figure out how and what I can do to mirror the camera screen with an iPad or some other device. I do not want to tether to my laptop. I have that set-up now, but want something simply to view the camera screen on a larger external monitor. I also want to be able to review images on the external. Actually that's the most important thing.

I'm thinking iPad would be most desirable because of its portability and no need to power with AC.

Through some research I ran across the Aputure VS-2. Looks like a good option. But I can't tell if I can do playback. Also, I think it connects via Micro USB which I need to reserve for my cable release.

If anybody has suggestions, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

The solution of your problem is "Sony Imaging Edge". Load down from the app store (its free). Read the manual and it should be possible for you to send every picture taken wireless to your ipad to view it.

(I just saw you asked for a7r2, not sure if it works with it, because I have a7r3. Maybe "Camrote" or "CCPro" is the better choice for you))
