Upgrading from A390...

Hello all,
I am looking to upgrade from my A390... but on a budget. One of my main dissatisfactions with my A390 is that the eyepiece sensor doesn't automatically switch the camera over from Live View to EVF-mode when I put my eye to the eyepiece. Do any of the translucent mirror models address this shortcoming?

Hi, what do you use the camera for, and what's the budget? I would suggest Sony a6300 used, or new/used a6100. If you prefer bigger eye piece that is also in the middle, than used A7iii.
