Which A7 body of video

Hello,

I would like to buy an A7 body for video, that I will use to complement my leica M for stills. I will use my M lenses with an adapter. Is the A7 a good video camera ?

I know that the A7S is better for video but it is also more expensive (2nd hand) and it may have been used a lot for video (exhausted sensor). Is the difference really so important ?

HD video is enough for me, I will use for documentary.

I use A7rii bodies for documentary work and they do wonderfully. The A7s gets great reviews as well.

And if you ever come across a camera having an exhausted sensor (?) return here to tell us about it. There have to be others other than myself also unfamiliar with that malady and just what clues one should look for to diagnose the issue and if it's transmittable to other sensors.
