Hello,
My Sony 70-200 2.8 GM lens not communicating with my body. im getting dash in aperture, lens not focusing at all.
I tested this lens on multiple sony bodies.
did anyone had this issue ?

Hi everyone,
I got a problem during a recording.. I change the battery without stopping the recording.. So, the rush didn't register on the SD card as a '.MP4' file. Instead of that, I got a '.RSV' file (visible on my computer) that I can't read as a video, and which has the good size of my original rush (29Go).
I want to know if you have any idea about how to open it or convert it as a MP4 file?

Camera worked fine one day and then it would not turn on.
The only thing it does is 3 red slow flashes followed by 6 red fast flashes, then repeats.
Makes no noises and nothing on LCD screen. Only flashing light sequence.
Normal nature shooting at temperature about 70 degrees. Normal to average humidity.
No error messages. No recent changes. No recent firmware updates.
Tried new batteries... still would not turn on. Only red light flashing.
I have tried all recommended ways to do a hard reset and nothing works.
Sony was no help either...try reset and send it in garbage.
Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.

Just bought the lens. Test it and very happy until I noticed dark upper corners, worse in the left. It only show up at small aperture (eg F11 F16 F22)and focus at infinity. The smaller the aperture the worse.
its worst in my A7II. Less noticeable in the A7RII. No hood or filter attached.

All camera have updated firmware.

Hello,
I just got used A7riii and the touchscreen does not work. I have tried updating the firmware, resetting the camera multiple times, changing the setting that has to do with autofocus (yes I'm aware that you have to turn this function on, I've turned it on and off so many times already) I'm not sure what I'm missing. The touchscreen is just unresponsive. I've done everything short of sacrificing a goat. Has anyone else run into this issue before? The previous owner says that they never used the touchscreen so they were not aware of it. Please help me figure it out. It cost a lot of money.

I've been experiencing focus issues with my camera for about a year now and im tired of lossing clips in my projects due to the camera not focusing. Now it may just be something in my setting so im reaching out hoping someone has an answer. My camera seems to always focus on the background in AF. in this clip im shooting at F4.0, wide focus setting on a Sony g master 70-200. alot of my clips end up looking like like this image. -

Hey there, Ihave to agree that the A9x series of A-mount line has a very specific built quality. I had reviewed A7Rm2 3 years ago and been able to compare it head to head with the A77m2 and I was shocked to see how the A7 series of E-mount line is built like a toy... When switched off, moving the body in my hand gave a clinky/dingy noise inside that is supposed to be the IBIS... Don't see why as it never does this with any A-mount bodies... I'm eager to rent an A9m3 when it will be available to compare its build quality side by side with A99m2. This last one is also built like a tank. -
Hi - thanks for the comment. No, nothing I tried sorted the problem. I spoke with SONY but what they charge for fixing is ridicolous. It's better to buy new camera. I still try to find solution but no luck so far. If you find anything please do let us all know. Thank you. -
Update: Micro Hdmi and Hdmi cable helped. External screen let me go to settings and change to EVF. but still LCD not working.
