Sony A6000 - correct lens to fit close up full screen live streaming

Recommended Posts

For live streaming:   I live stream trading cards and am moving from webcam over to a Sony a6000. Setting the camera up on the edge of my desk directly in front of my stomach and facing my hands, having manual focus set so that I can bring the the card into the focus zone and it takes up the entire screen. The web cams allow me to do this and get the card very close so it fills the screen with the entire card, whereas the a6000 does not, and only seems to focus the subject an arms length away and not close up.  Is there a setting using the default lens that would allow me to get closer to the subject and fill up the entire screen, or if not what lens should I be looking at in order to achieve this?

The camera is not the limiting factor here, it's the lens. Which lens are you using, at which focal length, and how close do you hold the card to the camera?
