Sony a7iii video write error then card read error

Hello,

I've recently been having issues only in the field when using my a7iii for video.

The issue first appears with some kind of data write error, I can't remember the exact wording, but it's along the lines of "write error, recover?" I've been saying "cancel" to the recover, as it has another warning message that mentions further data loss.

After I've cancelled/oked out of these messages I start getting "Unable to read memory card, Reinsert memory card. Slot 1" messages.

The card reads fine in a pc, but the last video saved seems to be corrupted in some way, plays but with artefacts.

I've had this happen with 2 separate cards now (lexar x2000s).

Camera firmware 3.00.

I have my dual card setup to write video to slot 1 and photo to slot 2, and I only have this issue with video and on slot 1.

 

Has anyone else experienced anything like this, or know what's causing the issue?
