When I walked in to B&H in New York City for the first time I was amazed, cameras, flashes, cages, sliders, tripods, GEAR!!! Gear Everywhere!! I purchased my first Sony camera the a6500 and before I knew it i had the best of the best. Lenses, Accessories, Cinema Cages... you name it I was hauling it around, everyday, everywhere I went. I became a collector, not a creator.. So here is what i did next
When my display settings are set to "Auto" yet the "Auto" doesn't seem to be working at all. Visuals stay in the Viewfinder unless I switch to "Monitor (Manual)" in which case the monitor works. I've cleaned the viewfinder, but to no avail.
I saw one other thread on this, but it didn't really elaborate on anything. Anyone else have this issue? If so, were you able to fix without sending to Sony? Thanks in advance.
I've got a problem with my a6300. I tried to connect it with an external monitor, but it always says: No HDMI Signal. I changed the HDMI cable, but the result was the same. I also tried different cameras and all of them are working, except the a6300. So I got my hands on to another monitor. It's a bit better here, I can see the camera options and the live view but the picture on the screen is pink, unusable for work. I tried different cameras again and they all worked. I also connected the a6300 to the monitor of my computer and it worked perfectly. Could you please help me?
From shooting with my canons (5D Mark II and Mark III) I am used to take note of the real file name of the picture on the monitor to make the connection to my notes of certain camera settings, as AF mode etc.
Now, with my Sony a7R II I see only a file number, with no correlation to the real file name.
Question: Are there any hidden settings to display the exact file name either on monitor or viewfinder?
Thanks for any help!
