Tamron 35mm f2.8 FE filter question

The Tamron 35mm f2.8 has an unusual bayonet lens hood that fits close to the lens's filter thread with a rectangular cutout and 67mm filter thread at the front.(If you can address my query you'll know what the lens hood is like!) I want to mount a UV filter on the lens (behind rather than on the front of the unusual lens hood). The only 67mm filter I have to hand is a close-up lens with a broad mount which definitely can't be fitted under the hood. Does anyone know if one of the slimmer UV filters can be fitted under the hood? Thanks.

I don't have a specialized 'slim' filter, but a standard Hoya HMC filter does NOT fit under the Tamron's special hood.
