Can not use Godox TT685s or TT350s on A7iii with vintage or manual lenses

Can any of the good people here help me with an issue. I have A7III and when I have any of the vintage/manual lenses mounted with Godox flash on top of the camera (or even OCF) the flash will not fire (flash set to manual power). I have enabled “release w/o lens “ . When I put the lens that has contacts in the back (e-mount or Canon mount with MC-11 adapter) and the body can detect the lens the flash works without any issue. Is there anything in the settings that needs to be changed that I’m missing?

I can only assume, that, the old, manual  lenses, do  not have electrical contacts ?

Then the flash has to be set to manual,  as well, as the  camera !

Old/vintage lens is fully manual no electric contacts on the lens, camera and flash is set to manual, the flash is in cameras hotshoe, I have also enabled “release w/o lens “ in camera menu, and the flash will not fire.
