All my pictures are gone!

I'm shooting with my new A7III, took a bunch of photos today, came back home and when I put the card on the computer, the photos were all gone. Tried seeing on the camera and they were gone also.

Has anyone had any experience like this?

Chances are some program has been set to automatically transfer the images then delete them from card. Very scary when I come across people that have this done for them because you never really know where the images ended up.

I'd do a search for image extension then sort based on date created and see if they're nestled in some hidden closet on the drive. Outside of that I'd run off a mess of useless test images on a different card, insert into computer, and see if it happens again. Then you'll know what to look for, expect, or trouble shoot on.

    • I don’t think the C1EM is compatible with the a7RM2 the C2EM is the Sony model that work, see this link https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1159878-REG/sony_a7r_mark_ii_digital.html/accessories The Meike looks like a great deal, though I wonder about the build quality... did you try searching for some video reviews?
