Misty
My 70-200 lens is about 5 years old. I bought it 2 cameras ago for my Sony A100. Will a DSLR lens work with an adaptor on a full frame without issue. I thought I had heard awhile back, you simply can't, but research is telling me you can. It seems to me, you'd have to lose some quality using an adaptor. Can anyone give me their experience please
Advertisement Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Hi Misty, Take a look here Buying a new Sony A7ii and have questions about using an old 70-200 DSLR lens. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Wally The Confused
My Minolta MD Rokkor 85mm 1.7, works perfectly on my Sony A9, with an adapter. No loss of sharpness, at all. So you should not have a problem. The MD version , is from 1978. Edited March 11, 2020 by Wally The Confused
