PlayMemories Mobile Remote Control: "Could not shoot" with Sony A7Rii

Hi Gurus!

I am trying to take some photographs with my Sony A7rii and the Play Memories app

 

I am able to make a connection, both the phone and camera pair up ok. I can see the camera's view through the telephone. I can zoom in and out using the phone as well. 

 

When I attempt to take an actual photograph however, the error "Could not shoot" is presented.

 

Is anyone able to assist? It was working, with a previous phone. The phone is a Huawei Honor 10.

 

I have reinstalled the app to no avail.  This also fails with the same message when using my trusty RX100III.

Not much help to you, but I just used the app with my A7R2 and iPhone 7.  All worked as expected.

The app changed names to imaging edge mobile.. might have to re download that app
