I have sony a6400, and i want absolutely steller quality from my prime lense ( will use for portrait , street portrait category ) the options i can see is
1. Sigma 56mm f1.4 for apsc
2. Sigma art 50mm f1.4 for FE
I might upgrade to full frame may be in next 4-5 years, not immediately, will sigma art 50mm f.14 will provide better image on a apsc body than 56mm ? In both photo and video ?
As the 50 art costs 2X than the 56mm, i am a bit confused.. but it that will provide that better image / video quality i am ok to pay the difference.
If anyone has used sigma 50mm art on APsc for photo and video please let me know.
I'm new here and new to thew world of photography.
I'm a game developer by trade and love to modify things.
I'll be posting a few of my modifications I did to my A6000 (mostly aesthetic ones) and how I went about doing them.
Since the a6000 series all look alike I wanted to hopefully inspire some people to make theirs stand out in the crowd like mine does.
I'll post the link to my new thread once I make it and figure out the crazy file size restrictions with the pictures I wanted to include.
I've had my Sony A6000 for at least 5 years, but for the last year or so, I've been randomly facing this issue where my focus appears to be continuously partially pressed. What that does is I am not able to do anything (click on anything else) other than clicking the shutter button to take pictures. Here's a picture of what it looks like
As you can see, my camera is just on, but it behaves as if I partially have the shutter button pressed. In the past, i've assumed that maybe my button is partially pressed, and I try to pull it awkwardly, sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't. This has become more of a problem recently and has made my camera almost unusable. Has anyone else faced this issue?
I'm curious to know if these two lenses can be effectively used in FF bodies without invoking crop mode. For instance, in my Pentax APS-C setup, I can use my 35mm and 50mm lenses in compatible FF bodies (film and DSLR). There is very slight vignetting, but I can get a full frame view out of them.
Has anyone else tried these two lenses in FF mode?
Maybe I have something set wrong but when recording video on my a6000 I don't see them in playback mode. I see all of the photos I have taken but no video. I'm sure they're there because when using playmemories they show up (although they won't wirelessly transfer). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
