Camera not powering with batteries, only dummy battery

I have an A7s Rig that normally is powered by a ProX Vmount battery via dummy battery to the a7s. 

Today arrived 4 new off brand batteries (FW50) that I wanted to use, None of them are powering on the camera. Using the original battery (sony brand that came with the cam) now no longer works either. Using dummy battery from the Vlock works. A7s only powers with dummy PW50 to Dtap to Vlock.

 

Is there any reason the cam is not detecting these batteries?

did you check the pins on dummy & batteries? maybe the dummy shifted a pin inside the camera so it misses a connection with anything but the dummy
