Hobie 1 Posted December 2 Shoot a photo. Is it sharp? If so, you are all set. Dropping or banging cameras tend to do more damage. Keep a lens shade on and even an UV filter to protect the front lens element. Lens shades can bend and absorb lots of damaging hits and save the lens. DanArt 1 Posted December 3 This is a mirror-less camera where only moving part is the shutter. There is no way it should be damaged because of shaking. I have dropped and physically injured my camera many times. Still functions. That is the part of paying so much for this camera. The magnesium casing is built to sustain a variable amount of damage.
