SONY 12-24mm f/4 for Morocco?

I'm going to be traveling to Morocco next year.  The widest lens i currently have is a Batis 18mm. I've never used a 12-24mm before, should I consider picking one up for this particular destination? I'm sure the lens is great for architecture and landscape but how about street photography?

I have the Batis 18mm and its wide enough for me.  Regarding my streetphotgraphy it's quite useless if its wide angle . I usually use a 28mm / 40mm or a 50 mm. I don't use any zoom.

I think anything wider than 18mm would be of limited use in Morocco. Not enough opportunities to justify the cost.

I was in Morocco last October, 2018 and shot in Marrakech and the High Atlas Mts. using only a Sony/Zeiss 24-70mm lens on my Sony a7R2.  I brought a 20mm prime but never used it. You can see some of the images on my website, www.roncroft.com.

Thank you all for the replies, It sounds like the 18mm will be more than enough for Morocco. I agree with you Mike, ultra wide angle lenses are not ideal for street photography...I prefer my X100f for that task. Great pictures Ron, thanks for sharing
