Lenses with Character

Hello, all! I am looking for a 50mm lens...it can be fully manual...old, new...that has some character to it...it can be overwhelming looking on line and I can't find a sample gallery of all the options. Thanks!!

Voigtlander 40mm / f1.2 is quite nice. Rich colors and high contrast. Great sharpness even wide open. Manual focus. Not cheap, though.

Voigtlander also has a similar 50mm / f1.2 that is similar in design and comparable in IQ.

Or if you want some real character try the Zeiss 50mm f1.4 ZE or ZF wide open on an adapter.

Or  a Jupiter 3. A Russian copy with the same character. Much cheaper to find. The Jupiter 8 is f2 and similar Sonnar copy.
