I like the top one a lot, though I'm wondering about a tighter crop. She has great eyes and putting them on the rule of thirds brings my eye straight to them.

Sorry to be so late to the party, here... New user, just registered!

Agreed that the tighter cropworks better, makes her eyes pop more.

I might try re-editing the original, and do a local lift of the shadows, brightening the area around her eyes.  I didn't see it that way at first, but as I compare the crop to the wider view, I'm seeing the eye area as just a bit dark...
