Can an A6000 be reset to solve a problem?

When I go into my A6000 menu, the selected option will not remain on the screen....... instead it jumps to the next option or scrolls through the options, making changes to my settings impossible (i.e. If I select Drive Mode, it may jump to say Format, etc). It doesn't do this all the time, and when it does, it's behaves differently, so very random.

I appreciate it looks like an electronics fault, but is it worth trying to 'reset' the camera first, to solve this issue..... IF there's any way to reset?

It's now out of guarantee, so can anyone offer any guidance?

Likely some dirt under one of the buttons, so the camera thinks it’s being pushed. It might be visible so look closely at all the buttons including the control wheel.

Many thanks LiveShots. Sounds like a good suggestion. Will check, and if nothing visible, will use an air line. May be drastic, but it's going in the bin otherwise.

Did you fix the problem?  I hope you didn't bin the poor camera
