As far as I know, all Sony cameras can be set up separately with custom profiles for video and images, especially from the A7R III and newer. You should be able to map those settings to any of the custom buttons you want to switch back and forth. For instance, I don't even use the red button for video, I have that programmed for a custom shooting set. I use the left side of the rear dial for video. I'm not huge into video, but do press the button once in a while. You should be able to set one of the Custom settings on your mode dial as well. If that isn't fast enough, any of the programmable buttons should work. Just set up the button of your desire with the settings of your desire, then press to start recording and press again to stop. Once you stop the camera will return to the previous mode.

Thanks, looks like it. Have just tried it and it does. So if I am an hybrid shooter I am literally screwed, because the picture profile affects the raw files then? So isn’t Sony separating this between each modes?
