Can anyone enlighten me as to why the YEAR in 'Posted Date' is omitted.  I  refer to the date of posting that appears along each individual post; shows as 'Posted March 17'.

Reason: I intended to contribute/comment to a query raised by a fellow member but was unable to determine whether or not the query was current.

The format of the date changes over time, anything posted within a week typically shows the day and the time.
