Sorry, should have read . Is there a firmware update for the animal eye focus tracking for the a6400. I am reading reports on the web that people are using it on the a6400 but there doesent seem to be a selection for it. Im pretty sure its not on my a6400. I have checked on Sony site and there is no mention of it. I know the A93 has updated today but nothing for the 6400. I thought it came with the camera to be honest

Your a6400 indeed came with most of these features on the original firmware. I don't own one though so can't direct you to the settings. Please consult the product manual for that.

Been right through the manual. Cant find any ref to animal eye autofocus at all. Strange

Just found this on Techradar .com … https://www.techradar.com/news/sony-a6400-mirrorless-camera-with-the-worlds-fastest-autofocus-launches-in-the-uae …"Sony plans to roll out real-time autofocus support for animals through a software update which will be released in summer 2019"...   Seems the firmware for this function is not in the camera yet.... How people are testing this on the web I don't know. Thanks for your support though.
