Wow. New a6000 user with a plethora of Nikon and Nikon mount lenses, so I just had to get an E mount adapter and see how well that would work.

 

Extremely happy. Didn't think I could manual focus with highlighting quick enough to capture something in flight. Fooled me. 

 

a6000 with Sigma 150-500 DG APO, Fotasy G mount Nikon DX adapter. Tripod mounted, shutter priority.

When taking these shots. What was the distance and what f manual focus on moving objects is tricky but you really made it here i an pondering this lens used for my s a6000 and this looks encouraging. Video filming birds with it is also worth trying. Thx for sharing your experience with this set up.
