I heard that this will be a firmware update to A9, A7iii and A7riii.

What about A7ii and A7rii? Will these be left out in the cold?

There will be no update for the A7iii and A7riii only the A9 and the A6400.

The announcement I saw said the A7riii and A7iii would get it.

The older models (a7rII and a7II) do not have the chip speed necessary to allow for continuous eye-AF.
