Black dots in a line down image, camera issue? Brand new Sony a7iii.

Hello,

I've just received a brand new Sony a7iii from Amazon today, I took some test photos and video and noticed black dots appearing in a line down the image (4 -6 lines across the image).

These dots also appear in the LCD screen and EVF and are picked up when focus peaking is on.

Has anyone had this before and know if it's just a bad version/broken camera?

I've attached 2 images, the one of the keyboard is a shot of a video I zoomed in on the lines in question in the top right of the image:

The second image is a photo cropped in on the dots/lines:

I tested with and without the lenses (took it away from the body briefly, lines still appeared).

Sorry for the late reply. In the end I had to send the camera back. The sensor was faulty/damaged on arrival for me.

Hope you manage to fix your issue!
