Portrait with Sony FE 100-400

Recommended Posts

Superb image and I would hope that at 100mm if would perform well as a portrait lens albeit a tad heavy - it shows the flexibility of the lens and I am still drooling but alas have to save my pennies!

When planning a photographic expedition to a mountainous country like Ethiopia, the biggest challenge is to keep your camera kit at a minimum.   Artfully, the A7RIII, in combination with the tack sharp Sony 24-105 lens, fits the bill.   More photos shot with the one camera/one lens combo @ http://patmorrow.com/diary/ethiopians/

There was freezing, cloudy, foggy and very windy weather, not good day for a mountain crest hike, but sometimes, bad weather offers a reward at the end of the day

My HVL-F20M flash suddenly does not work with my A7R3.  When the camera is turned on, it says something like: "Device not supported. Check manual."  Firmware is current on camera.
Any ideas from the Forum for fixing?

I been shooting several timelapse projects in 2018, The a7r3 is the perfect camera for timelapse and hyperlapse photography.
I only miss the option to choose different resolutions when i shot in RAW.
Here, my latest experiment, a hyperlapse around Las Vegas Boulevard, using the A7r3 with Laowa 15mm f2 and a 3 axis gimbal.
