  1. Hi everyone! I am regularly using my Sony Alpha 6400 as a webcam to conduct my online seminars via zoom. It works very well. Now I need to do it via GoToMeeting for one client. I connect my camera via the "Elgato Cam Link 4K" adapter to my Windows 10 PC. In GoToMeeting the video immediately freezes, GoToMeeting is not able to initialize the WebCam. GoToMeeting says it only supports up to 1280×720 pixels. My question: Is there any way to reduce the output of the A6400 to this resolution? As far as I know it is only able to output 1920 x 1080p (HD) or 3840 x 2160p (4K). Any hints are welcome. Thanks, Matthias
  2. I've tried for 5 hours now to get the webcam working through Imaging Edge Webcam but so far nothing worked. Just yesterday it worked flawlessly, then I used it to shoot some photos outside and then when I wanted to use it as a webcam again, it didn't work. I'm using a normal micro-USB cable connected to my computer with Ctrl w/ Smartphone off and USB Connection to PC Remote. I installed the software and use OBS to stream it to Discord, Microsoft Teams, etc... Every time I do that (as shown in the picture I attached) it just shows me the Imaging Edge Webcam splash text and not the live view. Can anyone help me?
  3. IMG_6645.HEICIMG_6645.HEIC Hi there, I'm trying to set up my Sony a6300 as webcam using the Sony Remote software to my Mac Book Pro. For some reason it's recognising the camera but not connecting. It seems to be stuck in the 'Connecting... USB' cycle even when I've left it for several hours. I'm using the USB setting PC Connect on the camera I'm using the Sony USB to B cable supplied with camera. So far I've tried the following; 1. Using another USB to B cable (although it is recognising the camera, just not connecting - see screenshots) 2. Reset camera to factory settings 3. Uninstalled and re-installed the Sony Image Edge software 4. Several restarts of the Mac and Camera Fair to say I'm stumped!!! Anyone else have any ideas? Thank you :-)
  4. Sony a6000 used as a webcam with CamLink and dummy battery. Every time I start the camera I get a "No Memory Card. Cannot Play" error. The only way to bypass is to half-press the shutter button. Issue is the camera is in an inconvenient place to do this every time. I've tried to stick several SD cards in and just leave it, but that doesn't work. Error remains, and half-press solution is the only thing that works. Seems the camera is not starting in capture mode, but in playback mode. Can I change settings to start in capture mode? (I leave it in Movie mode) I don't have a Release w/o Card option in the settings. Is there something similar? Any other workaround so I can simply turn on the camera and go? Thanks in advance.
