  1. I took these a few nights ago while the oceans were calm. Shot with an a6000 and the FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS. The OSS on the lens works really well. These were all hand held and zoomed in at 200mm.
  2. Taken a few nights ago at sea. Shot with an a6000 and a Samyang 12mm. I was able to secure this shot better against a railing than my last one. But you can still see movement as evident in the stars. 2 second exposure, 1600 ISO, f2 and sailing the great pacific ocean.
  3. Taken last night at sea with a Sony a6000 and Samyang 12mm. I did my best to stabilize the camera against one of the rails on our flight deck. It was a 2 second exposure, 1600 ISO and f2.
  4. Taken last night on the open ocean aboard the USCGC Stratton. Sony a6000 w/ kit lens.
  5. Taken tonight in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with a Sony a6000 and the kit lens.
  6. Here are a few pics I took with my Sony a6000 and Samyang 12mm. This is right outside of Panama, Panama City. The pictures are handheld and processed in Lightroom 6.
