  1. I'm doing a major shoot in outback Australia using a DJI M600 with Ronin MX and Sony A7R2. Shooting some video but mostly stills in RAW of fast moving trains. The camera has to be triggered with infra red. Sony advises me that the A7R2 is not capable of internally shooting burst when triggered with Infra Red. However I can do a sort of slow burst by using the timelapse app. If I set the timelapse app up in custom settings I can trigger it with infra and when it has finished its selected amount of shots I can trigger it again. Trouble is the minimum amount of shots is 30, which is too many as even with the fastest cards it will start to lag after 10-15 shots in raw, and I don't want 30 shots. If sony could upgrade the app so you can select 5,10 or 15 shots as the minimum and even reduce the interval which is a minimum of 1 second down to say half a second. I'd have a slow burst that I could trigger with infra red. Hope you're listening Sony, I really appreciate your recent firmware upgrade which fixed the autofocus issue when triggering with infra red, I'm camped by the side of the track, next shoot is Tuesday, hope this will happen soon
  2. I am trying to use the Timelapse app on my Sony A6000. It won't let me set an interval more than 60 seconds - is it impossible or am I just missing it? Also, I can't figure out how to have it save as a movie instead of individual frames - how is that set? Also it seems to eat my batteries very quickly - no longer than an hour or two of timelapse taking photos every 60 seconds, even though I've got something sitting in front of the viewfinder, to keep the LCD turned off - is that normal?
