  1. My Sony a5100 dims significantly only when I’m recording to the point where I can barely see the screen. I never had this issue before and I am just looking for answers to my issue.
  2. My husband and I each had NEX-6 cameras, and each had serious problems with screen delamination. We had one of the two cameras repaired, and replaced one with the A6000 a couple of years ago. My A6000 is showing signs of a similar problem developing at one edge inthe dark area outside of the viewing screen. So for now, it's a cosmetic problem. But I think it's just a matter of time before the "bubbles" make their way to the viewing area of the screen. Of course, the problem developed after the warranty expired. Having invested a lot of money in quality lenses, we are quite unhappy to have a problem like this occur with all 3 of our Sony cameras...and are wondering if we should switch or try another Sony model and hope for the best. Is this problem something Sony owners just have to live with, or are there models with different/better display screens?
  3. Hi, I apologize for my first post being support was not sure where else to go. I don't know much about camera however purchased my sister a Sony A7RIII. We followed the manual to start it up set up the date and time then noticed there are 5 major dots on the screen(1 red and 4 white), similar to what a dead pixel would look like. They are on the LCD panel and also in the viewfinder. The camera is brand new and the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens we purchased for it is brand new. I assumed dead pixels however it is on both the lcd and the viewfinder, also the dots to not appear on the screen when viewing photos that were taken. I tried googling but was not certain what the problem is. We have not updated the firmware yet since we did not have time, any idea of what the problem could be? Photo's below(sorry picture of my knee is not the best. One is on the lcd and the other is in the viewfinder)
  4. Camera worked in the airport, and then when I arrived it stopped. Whenever I turn it on the image preview briefly flickers, followed by a blueish screen, followed by black. The cycle repeats until I take the battery out, turning it off doesn't even work. There's no camera shops on the island, anyone know how to fix it?
  5. When I press or release the autofocus button on my Sony Alpha 7 III I notice a lag in the screen and in the viewfinder. And it is really annoying. Here you can see a video of the lag (at 1:23). The fix he says in the video doesn't solve the problem for me. I'm using the Sony Alpha 7 III (last firmware) with the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Art. The lag is noticeable with both "Display Quality" set to "Standard" or "High", and regardless of the used "Focus Mode". Do you notice the same? Is it possible to fix it?
