  1. 146 megapixel panorama of Moscow Full size Sony ILME-FX30 + Sony E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS
  2. I visited a small and ancient village in China that was built entirely on water and used to be a trading hotspot. The haze on that day added a very special atmosphere. This shot is based on multiple exposures that were stitched together in Lightroom. My camera was a Sony A7r ii and a Zeiss Otus 55mm. I hope enjoy looking at it.
  3. HI guys, I am considering to buy an A6500 and a Zhiyun Crane gimbal. I want to use the A6500 for video and spherical 360 photography (for Google Street View). The gimbal can be mounted and remote controlled to make a horizontal turn. Do you know if it is possible to make a (preferably one-shot) full spherical 360 picture with this set up using the Panorama Sweep mode? Thanks in advance. Riaz
  4. A7m2 @ ISO100, with Loxia 50mm @ f9 (focus at 7m), and Lee Seven5 Big Stopper for ca 3sec exposure, 6 image stitch using RRS Pano Head and PT GUI. With all the setup ... I forgot to take a white balance measurement to help correct the cast of the Big Stopper ... This was my first go at a stitched panorama, its very interesting to "build an image up", rather than "crop an image down". Higher res on 500px.
  5. Question on AEL function. Is there a way to set the AEL function so that once I push the AEL button and release it, that it maintains that exposure until I push it a second time? I have used it by pushing and holding it in but this is awkward when taking multiple shots such as panos.

    Late View

    From the album: Landscapes

On our way back from Blinnenhorn we got a great view of Greis Lake just before golden hour. Walking with no track in wilderness is one of the most incredible experience, and this kind of landscape is the reason we explore. I worked hard on colors, to get the best balance between saturation and contrasts.

    Connections

    From the album: Landscapes

This picture is took from Colle San Carlo looking to Colle del Piccolo San Bernardo, the mountain passage from Italy to France. France sells every year tons of electricity through this cables, and fog is coming too from there. I used particularly desaturated colors to give more the idea of post-the-sunset atmosphere. I had also 2 choices: or to make a closeup of the fog and cable in the back, or to leave the picture as I tooken, with the tree in the middle. I preferred the second way, to give more deeper effect and in this way you can see the cables going all through the valley.

  9. From the album: Landscapes

Autumn is coming on Italian Alps and a fisherman is enjoying the Lake of Arpi with no turists around. Dealing with light was very difficult, as mountains on the back are much higher than the lake. On the lake we had golden light of sunset, on the mountains there still was a strong light, so I used polarizer and graduated ND filter. I also used a quite slow shutter, to get the idea of fishing line movement.
