Hello everybody, over the weekend I camped in the alps on top of an hill using my new Sony FE 70-300mm with my Sony A7s. Back home I was processing my pictures as always using Lightroom. Lightroom found the correct lens profiled and applied all settings. Looking through my processed pictures I realized especially on dark pictures like the sunrise and the moon some distracting color rings. I've added two pictures which I've over processed a little bit to show these distracting color rings. Does anybody have the same problem or is this normal for such a telephoto lens? I've never had such a problem before. Maybe somebody can answer me. Cheers Paul

This is my composite of the eclipse reaching totality. Each photo is about 10 minutes apart until it reaches totality. I love the detail of the sun's corona. Seeing the picture after witnessing the eclipse is incredible. I feel so fortunate to have captured this magical moment. Gear used: Sony Alpha a6300 Orion ED80T Celestron AVX mount

Well, wolf's moon has come and gone, but I actually quite like a waning moon that is at 85% or so, especially with fast moving clouds which left some interesting shots. Sony A7RIII FE 100 - 400 f/4.5-5.6 GM Mostly wide open and all handheld... 1. Partly covered moon copy by singingsnapper, on Flickr 2.
