  1. Hey gals and guys, I have a quick question. This seems to be a point of frustration for a few but I've yet to seek out a good solution to something I would like to do. If you wanted to set your Sony camera to take a sequence of photos every, say, 5 seconds, and repeat until you tell it to stop, what would you use to accomplish this? Is there a (reliable) app for our cameras that gets this done? Is there a tethering solution that gets this done? I'm fine with either setup, I don't NEED it to be tethered to a computer, but my needs are beyond the self timer. I need it to continue to take photos until I tell it to stop. Reliably. For these photos, I will be triggering flashes via pocket wizards. Thank you in advance for your input everyone, Kyle
  2. When I plug in the intervalometer from the Second Shooter to a Sony Alpha A7x, the Sony camera ceases to allow changes to Shutter/Aperture/ISO until I physically unplug that cable and press the wheel button to snap it out of its trance. The intervalometer works, but I can't do anything else. At first I thought this was a Sony problem, but then I found that this doesn't happen when I plug in another remote/timer to the same port, which does the same thing. I can change the settings while the Vello Shutterboss does its thing, for example. Does anyone here know enough to say what exactly the Second Shooter is doing on the INT -> Multi port that is locking Shutter/Aperture/ISO controls on the Sony A7x series? I've posted to the Kessler forum but haven't received a response.
  3. Hi All, I have a very specific requirement, I need to continuously shoot full frame RAW for 1 minute and capture as many frames as possible. Burst mode will capture compressed RAW at 10 FPS but for 68 frames. Interval mode is only every 1 second. I'm looking for something better than this, does anyone know of software/firmware which can get my shooting up to say 5FPS continuous for 60 seconds? Camera: Sony ilce-7rm4 Many thanks for your input. Dan
  4. I'd love to suggest a feature for using the built-in Intervalometer feature on the cameras that have it and also have dual card slots. Just as you can separate stills and video to each memory card, I think it would be very valuable to be able to send sequences created with the intervalometer feature to a separate memory card. Often when out shooting for the day, I'm shooting both time-lapses and stills. Organizationally it would be very beneficial to the workflow to have these shots separated.
  5. Hello, I am wondering whether there is an app to control my Sony a 6000 with my iPhone. What I need: something like the smart remote control app from the playmemories app but with a built in intervalometer (like timelapse) I want to program the camera to take for example one photo every second, but I also need a live view and want to change settings like aperture, iso, shutter and so on. The smart remote control app only has a 2s and 10s timer and it will then only take 1 shot. I want it to take 1 shot every second for a certain period of time, without losing focus (with AF and face recognition ON). Thx for your help guys :)
