  4. Fireflies illuminating a mountain path in Iriomote-jima, Yaeyama-gun, tropical Japan. Technically not perfect, but the content more than makes up for it I think. The mountain path was pitch black (about from our insect friends) and we were not allowed to use any lights as it would disturb the fireflies. I set up the A7r as best as I could on the tripod and used F1.4 with a high ISO and manual focus. I didn't think I'd capture such a result...and it's amazing that one firefly seemed to be following the highway code and driving on the left hand lane haha! Nature is truly magical at times!
