  1. An example of the the A7 bringing out the potential of a decades-old lens: Konica Hexanon 28mm f/3.5, ISO 50, 4s at f/16 Some of the story here: http://fourbillionyears.org/why-the-sony-a7-is-now-my-flagship-camera/ And here: http://www.fourbillionyears.com/

  3. Green Sea Turtle caught resting on a bed of seaweed on the North Shore of Oahu. Shot on a NEX-6 & FE28mm Lens. #sonyalphagallery
  4. This film was mostly shot on the A6500. Maui is an amazing place and this was our first visit. Thanks for watching!
  5. Took my Sony A7R (with Vario-Tessar F4 24-70 Glass) out on a walk yesterday around sunset time in Maui. Some great views, but the sunset was blocked by the mountain. The best opportunity for a photo was at the end of the boardwalk over a protected wildlife area. We wanted to keep walking, but as you can see, that bridge was burned long ago. Placed the camera on the warning sign for stability and took 3 exposures (+2, 0, -2) blended as HDR in Lightroom and then went through my normal process. Love the result!
  6. This is a video that features the beauty of the mountains and seascapes of the Big Island. It highlights Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, some of the biggest mountains in the world. Shot on a Sony A6000 and A5000 with the Rokinon 12mm and kit lenses.
