Hi, I've been shooting some slow motion (120 fps) on my a7rii and have been getting a lot of noise in my blacks showing up.. not sure how to best avoid this. I've been shooting slog2 on crop 35 with a zeis 55mm and setting auto iso with max iso to 3200-6400 depending on whether it's dark out or not. The noise is even present during the daytime (you can see in the dark areas). For 24 fps 4K, there is almost no noise under these same settings (daytime or night time)... Here's a sample video that I shot under these settings: And here's a guy I saw that shot 120 fps in full frame: I've read that you get better image quality in crop mode (especially at night) so I've been using that paired with the 720 quality. I've seen samples that the picture quality can nearly match the a7s in crop up to 25,600 iso (at least for HD) and was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to best eliminate the noise. Should I instead use FF and max my iso a little higher?

Can anyone confirm if the camera crops at 120fps? (Like the A7sii @ x2.2)… Or is it full frame throughout frame rates? Thanks!

Wondering if anyone has run into this issue. I have an 18-105 PZ for my a6300 that I haven't used in a few months. I picked it up today and noticed a rattling sound. It seems like something close to the mount is rattling up and down if I shake the lens up and down. If I attach the lens to the camera, it goes away completely. This makes me think that maybe it has something to do with the image stabilization or power zoom, but I have no idea. I've read people saying this is normal in other image stabilized lenses like the 35mm 1.4. Maybe the lens was doing this before and I never noticed? Has anyone else had this issue, or know if this is how the lens is supposed to be? Thanks!

From the album: Carnaval Zichem (Belgium) 2014
As you can see the picture of the woman at 130 mm is very sharp, even the shadow of the hair on her forehead, certainly for a 300 Euro FF lens!
