    Selfie!

    From the album: Landscapes

Alpinist taking a selfie ascending on Mount Adula, highest peak of Ticino (Switzerland). The day and situation was just perfect, with a sea of clouds and colors of sunrise. Modern times: he is taking a selfie instead of a landscape photo.

  14. From the album: Birding with A7rII

Got this with my A7rII and 55mm as I was walking back to the car after an unsuccessful afternoon of birding. Barely had time to whip the camera out of the case and snap three shots before they were gone.

  18. I've been trying out the 55mm as my walk-around lens on my new A7rII. Quite a change in how to frame from the 18-200mm Tamron Superzoom I've been using on my old NEX-7. When I want to go wide I shoot a panorama, which works quite well most of the time with static subjects, like the mountains you see here. The final images are huge, take a long time to process, but are fantastically detailed for printing large on my Epson 7900. Mountains L-R: Three Fingers, Whitehorse, Mt. Baker (volcano), Whitechuck (rocky peak), Mt. Shuksan. Taken high on Mt. Pugh
  19. I took my recently-acquired second hand A900 to Scotland recently, using a second hand Minolta AF 28mm lens. (you don't need to spend big bucks ALL the time!) I was on the local ferry from the mainland over to the island of Mull when the dull day exploded into light. Wonderful.
  20. I shot these photos with my Sony A7 in a field near Mutluyaka Village in Famagusta, Cyprus
