  1. I am seriously looking at trading in my canon 60D and buying an a6300. A few questions i have though are: -Is there a battery grip that is coming out for the a6300? I know there is one by Vivitar for the a6000 but it does not work properly on the a6300. i want to be able to buy a dedicated grip for the a6300. -Does the fotodiox ef to e mount adapter work well? seeing a lot of good reviews on B and H but wanting some opinions from here. i have a good collection of canon lenses that i would love to use on the a6300. -is it worth getting the 16-50mm kit lens? what intrigues me is the power zoom function, and the good focal length range. i have a canon 16-35mm f2.8L mk I though, so is it worth the extra $ to get the kit lens? I do a lot of mixed photography and video work with the 16-35 being my main workhorse. -what are the ESSENTIAL accessories to get with the a6300? things that you absolutely NEED to get the best out of the camera. Thank you SO MUCH in advance guys! Masi
  2. Hello All, Does anyone know of a battery grip for the A6300 that does not have the required wire connection on the side? I use the Meike and have had trouble with the cable getting caught on my bag or just getting in the way while shooting. Thank you in advance of your replies. A post Happy Holidays to all. Markoe
  3. I'm looking for a good camera bag (shoulder bag only) that can carry the following: 1. Sony A7R II with Battery Grip and Sony 24/70 f2.8GM mounted. 2. Additional Sony/Zeiss 16-35mm f4 Lens 3. Two Extra Sony Batteries 4. Watson Dual Battery Charger 5. Extra SDXC Memory Card and Memory Card Reader 6. Lenspen and Cleaning Spray/Cloth 7. Additional small items, such as user manual, filters, etc. In addition, it would be helpful to have a a pocket to store an iPad, but not a dealbreaker. I currently have the Lowepro Adventura 170, but it baaaarely fits the 16-35mm lens in the extra available space to the side of the camera, and it does not really fit the 24-70 in the side space if I decide to keep the 16-35mm mounted instead. Surprisingly, it does fit the Camera with 24-70 mounted height-wise. In other words, it is just not wide enough. I was thinking about getting the Think Tank Speed Racer, but not sure if that is possibly overkill. I don't want something that will have tons of extra space and allow my gear to move around. Any other ideas that might fit my gear? Thanks for any help/ideas.
  4. Meike MK-A7II Pro Built-in 2.4GHz Wireless Control Battery Grip for Sony A7 II as Sony VG-C2EMFollowing the SAR revellation that the Meike A7 11 battery grip is suitable for the A7Rii, I bought one - from Amazon I couldn't fit it to my A7Rii camera as, despite it being said (in the manufacturer's blurb) to be suitable, the battery flap on the A7Rii opens the wrong way. That is downards towards the centre of the camera & NOT, as with my previous Sony cameras, outward so that the flap hangs to the side when the grip iis fitted. I can only assume that in order to fit it you must first have to remove the camera's battery flap completely but, as the camera is brand new - & under Sony's 3 year guarantee, I am reluictant to do so (I don't know how anyway!) as it will surely invalidate the guarantee. Have I got something wrong, and if so, can anyone explain it please?? Toshanco
  5. Does anyone have any experience with either the Neewer or the Vivitar battery grips for the a6000? Gary Fong has an unboxing video, but nothing about whether the grip works as promised. There are mixed reviews on Amazon regarding the functionality and quality of the grip. So, I would love to hear if any owners of either one have comments.
