  1. I'll be traveling with my Sony gear and usually like to bring about (10) batteries with me. Is there an easy way to protect the batteries from themselves, protecting the contacts and getting these through airport security? Are there any small cases that will hold about four or so batteries in one case? I've just been putting them in small baggies and wrapped with a rubber band but this might not work for airport screening. Any ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Markoe California USA
  2. Hi - is it better for battery life to let your batteries fully discharge; to fully recharge them; or to charge them to 50% Obviously the most convenient answer is to fully discharge them, then fully charge them so you always know exactly where you are. Is this best for the batteries however? I have a Sony a7s m2
  3. The Sony A7RII batteries seem to discharge pretty fast by just sitting. I've used many systems (Pentax, Leica, Nikon, Canon, Fuji, Olympus) and the Sony seems to be the worst. What about you? It would not be so bad if Sony didn't charge a bunch of $ for their batteries. The fresh charged batteries do OK in the camera, am satisfied. But my complaint is the fast discharge rate from sitting just over a couple months.
  4. Hi guys, I've put my collection of 14 Sony NP-FM500H batteries, plus two Sony BC-VM10 chargers up on ebay at only $20. I'd like them to actually be used by somebody so the opening bid for the whole package is only $20, and buy-it-now is $100. This is a great deal if you're looking for a shit-ton of batteries plus two chargers for your A-mount camera. I took these on my treks and journeys where there's no electricity and I'd need batteries to last 10-15 days, so actually, in spite of looking somewhat beat up cosmetically, they're actually in pretty good shape internally (except probably for the 3-4 that were used regularly, but even then, they're OK). They're all fully charged and ready to go. I hope a SAR reader gets them, as I'd be happy even if my minimum bid were the final price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/121814467453?
