  1. Hello together, I´ve bought a Sony A7II some month ago and I always thought that the A7II doesn´t have a clean hdmi-output. As I was looking on the specs of the camera again Sony listed this feature for the A7II. So I was thinking "great, let´s have a look for an external recorder". Unfortunately the Sony A7II isn´t listed as supported camera for the Atomos-recorder. I searched the web for this topic but it seems that no one has this question so I try it for myself in this forum: Does the Sony A7II really has a clean hdmi-output and is it supported by any external recorder like the Atomos Ninja? I´ve found out that the first A7 is also supported by Atomos so why not the mark 2? Thanks for the support and best regards! Ben

  3. I'm looking at buying the A7s because of the low light + 4K video possibilities. I do a lot of inside filming and I'm over using artificial light for simple tasks. Also to have the ability to get photos of my daughter in low light rooms will be amazing! Basically here in Australia its going to cost $5.5k for the A7s + Atomos Shogun. I love what the shogun can do and cant wait to use it. My biggest problem is I dont know what to do with my Nikon D610 and 6 quality lenses (24-70mm 2.8G, 70-200mm 2.8G, 105mm Micro etc). I dont want to sell them because they are fairly new and take amazing pictures. Maybe I can sell them all and buy everything back in Canon second hand and not loose too much? I believe Canon has more potential to get 4K right in the future than Nikon with their DSLR cameras. I would hate to buy a kit of E-Mount lenses and then down the track Sony make a future camera and the lenses are incompatible down the track. You know they love to do it! Also I am a little spooked by the electronic focus and zoom on the Sony lenses. I guess I will see how they handle today when I try them in store. I'm also looking at buying a Kessler Second shooter setup with a wireless focus puller. So I will need lenses to accommodate operating them. I also will need to buy a good auto focusing Sony lens for simple at times video? Any help would be great thanks.
  4. Because the FX3 has lower noise levels, some codec features only show up on the camera at high ISO settings. Sony Cinema Line FX30 (ILME-FX30) Firmware Version 2.0 - S-Gamut3.Cine/S-Log3 Recorder: - Atomos Ninja V (Firmware 10.90.00) FX30 lens: - 3M-5A 500mm f/8 + VILTROX EF-E II 0.71x Speed Booster - Sony E PZ 18–105 mm F4 G OSS APS-C (SELP18105G) Noise reduction, editing & color grading in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2023.
