Hello, I'm brand new to photography, please forgive my request for help if this is a no-brainer for you guys. I purchased the A7ii, Phottix Mitros+, and Odin II TTL earlier this year; firmware was updated for all and after several weeks of unsuccessfully trying to use the flash off camera, I learned the Mitros+ needed to be in TTL mode to be controlled by the Odin II. Problem solved until receiving new 2nd Mitros+ (firmware immediately updated); when selecting Odin RX mode, like the first flash, the Channel and ID fields flash but are totally blacked out. I mounted the new Mitros+ on the hotshoe and it works perfectly fine... the Channel and ID fields display. Does anyone know what I need to do to control the new Mitros+ from the Odin II, as a second flash? Thanks a million for any help!!!

Hi I have a new Sony A7ii with the 24-240mm Sony lens, my first full frame camera after shooting with a Canon 60d. I'm looking to add more lenses to the collection, probably starting with a 50mm. The Sony 55mm F1.8 Sonnar T is the one I want, but can't afford at this time! My budget is low, around $500 or less is better, so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a lens to start. I'm ok with the third party manual lenses, realizing I will need an adapter, but finding it somewhat confusing as to what will work on the Sony A7ii. Also interested in a legacy lens, but I can't figure out which lenses will work with which adapters. Any other suggestions for a newbie? Thanks for your help!

I've been a long-term m43 user but I just bought a Sony a7ii. I have a few Oly FL-36R flashes that I would like to use with my A7ii, primarily--but not exclusively--in a wireless, off-camera system. Has anyone had experience getting this kind of set-up to work? Although I like the Sony flashes (I had a few before when I had a Sony A77), I'm looking to take advantage of my existing Olympus purchases if I can to save the costs of purchasing new flashes. Any advice or sharing of experiences would be greatly appreciated.

This is a quick video I put together today of my brother's model train layout. It's in a basement so the lighting was certainly less than ideal. Very pleased though! The video was shot mainly with the Sony A7 Mark 2 (XAVC-S) and a Sony Action Cam. My trusty Sony A99 was used for still photography. www.twotwentystudios.com YouTube Link: Let me know what you think. Thanks!
